Heart rate monitor stopped working on Forerunner 735XT. Hi all, I did an update on my forerunner 735 a couple of days ago. Since then I've been on 2 runs, both times the heart rate has been very inaccurate. It's constantly about 20 bpm under what my heart rate actually is, and seems to only take a measurement every minute or so. This software should only be uploaded to the unit for which it is intended. If this software is uploaded to a GPS unit other than the product it is designed for, it will render the unit inoperative. If the software upload fails, and subsequent upload attempts prove unsuccessful, the unit may need to be returned to Garmin for service. Forerunner ® 735XT.
